Cynthia Lueck Sowden is the author of Ride Minnesota, 23 Great Motorcylce Rides in the North Star State. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Journalism.
Ride Minnesota is her third book, and the first one she self-published. In October 2014, she brought out the second edition of An Anniversary to Remember: Celebrations for the Years One to Seventy-Five. In 2015, she published Ride Lake Superior. She has also contributed to Masters of Sales by Dr. Ivan Misner, and How I Got the Gig, by Susan Carter. She has worked in corporate communications and public relations for more than 30 years.
Ride Minnesota 
The Wenger Corporation and the Owatonna Eagles are pleased to announce the 8th annual motorcycle Ride for Hope fund-raiser on Saturday July 9, 2016. Registration starts at 8 a.m. The ride begins at 10:00 am at the Owatonna Eagles Club. Cost is $20 for a single rider, $25 for double.
We will tour Southern Minnesota (Mankato, Eagle Lake, Minnesota Lake, Twin Lakes, Glenville, and Blooming Prairie) and return to Owatonna. Lunch will be at the Great Escape Bar and Grill in Minnesota Lake. Over $2000 in raffle prizes and a Taco dinner at the end of the ride. We hope you can participate!
Riders can direct their donations to five local charities, including the Open Arms Suicide Prevention Program, Eagles Cancer Telethon, Eagles Diabetes Research Center, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, and Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.
